Priority Projects

While our OHT will address diseases/health conditions of various population groups in our attributed population in future years, our initial work is focusing on the following three Project Team areas:

Mental Health, Addictions and Substance Use Health

This Project Team works together to identify gaps in services and strives to ensure streamlined and timely access to mental health, substance use health and addiction services in the most appropriate setting.

Frail Older Adults and Complex Care Needs

This Project Team works collaboratively to find ways to improve coordination and supportive care in the community so that people can access care in a timely manner in the most appropriate setting.

Health Human Resources

This Project Team is actively reviewing and working on strategies related to health human resources recruitment. Its ultimate goal is to stabilize and increase our healthcare workforce by unifying recruitment efforts and finding solutions to identified challenges.
